Patchwork: Ōtautahi

PATCHWORK:
ŌTAUTAHI

An interactive installation that brings Christchurch to life - built for public spaces, made to be played by everyone who walks past.

Welcome to Patchwork

A little world inspired by Ōtautahi.

Patchwork: Ōtautahi is an interactive city experience inspired by the people, places and personality of Christchurch. It's not a game you play alone at home, it's a living world built into a physical, multi-screen installation, designed to sit in public spaces and respond to whoever's standing in front of it.

A public space people actually stop for.

Most public art is looked at once and forgotten. Patchwork is built to be different: an interactive multi-screen experience designed for foyers, walkways and public spaces, where every choice a passerby makes shapes the little world on screen. That means engagement you can actually track: foot traffic, dwell time, and people who come back to see what changed.

We're a student-led team based in Ōtautahi, New Zealand, and we're looking to connect with venues, brands, investors and other creatives interested in bringing Patchwork to life.
